My name is Jordan Sabo, I'm a junior at Ledyard High School and I'm planning a volunteer trip with a group called Amigos De Las Americas to the Dominican Republic, where I will be living for the summer of 2016. During this trip, I will be living in a rural village with one other high school student from the US, and I will be living with a family and doing two projects in the community. One will be with the youth (running a four hour summer camp everyday, painting a school mural, etc) and another to build leadership with the teens & adults (building a school, working on getting clean water, etc.)
This morning I was interviewed for Good Morning Ledyard by Megan Brawner to talk about my fundraising process and the trip in all. The video will be out soon, stay tuned!
